Our new favorite park...

We have been going to our new favorite park, it's not really a 'park' but a COMPLETELY GATED play area at our church. It's so awesome, I can take all of the kids by myself and not worry at all about A and E running off in different directions. I personally think that more regular parks should be gated, but most aren't. Moms of multiples from the Albuquerque Twins Club have been looking for a place to get out with their kids and I passed along this idea. I called the church to see if it is open to the public during the week and it is; since I called last week, we've gone twice. I just LOVE IT. (If you look closely, you can see another set of boy/girl twins in the background of the middle picture, we invited them for a playdate.)

Uncle Jeremy trying to teach Ethan how to cast.

We had a playdate two weeks ago and this is our little friend, Carsten with Ethan, just chillin' on the Sesame Street couch eating some animal crackers. (Ethan still has his pajama bottoms on, we were having slow morning).

Amber leaning in to give her little brother a smooch, and then she decided to hold Jack, a rare event. It only lasted for about 2.5 seconds and then she said 'nuff' and shoved him off of her lap.

Mom and Jack doing Pat-a-cake, he really likes it....I had to include this other shot because it shows off his new super cute onesie that says "udderly adorable".

Jack and Ethan wearing their matching outfits from Old Navy, size 6-12months and 3T.

Jack is multi-tasking here, gnawing on his thumb AND playing with his moose, all in a 3month old's days work, I guess.

Here are some pictures from when I took them to a gymnastics hour with the Moms Club of our neighborhood. They followed direction pretty well with the stretching in the beginning, but then decided to run off and do their own thing which was fine. They pulled out the hula hoops and ran around in that room. Then the kids got to go into the 'big room' with the balance beams and trampoline areas and they both were running off and it was hard to keep them interested in the activity that they were supposed to be doing- there are no pictures of that, it was chaos. The room was so big and Amber just couldn't stay with the group, she was constantly sneaking off and getting into trouble. Luckily the other moms helped me keep an eye on where the twins were at, but we left early. I will not do this type of activity with them again on my own until they are older, it was NOT FUN.
