Sick Toddlers = Fun

Hi, we have been having tons of fun this week with the latest cold virus that is going around. This morning Amber woke up first which is atypical, and Ethan was still asleep in his crib. She did NOT want to leave her brother in there alone, so she decided to lay on the floor with her blankie and thumb and wait for him to wake up. It was too funny, so I had to take a picture. Ethan seems to need more sleep when he has a cold and Amber doesn't. Eventually I got her into the living room and changed her diaper and in the meantime Ethan woke up very angry because he was all alone and with a face full of snot to top it off. Not fun times. I've been wearing the same shirt and pants all week because they smear snot all over me all day long and I don't want to have snot on ALL of my clothes, I'll just wash this outfit once maybe at the end of the week. You don't even want to see what my couches and pillows look like. Hannah got smeared yesterday when she went to help them on her lap for a story, she was not smiling like this until after I rescued her with a fresh baby wipe. We've gone through a LOT of wipes this week. Even though we are right in the middle of this cold, the twins seem to have quite a bit of fun playing. They have figured out how to share the tupperware cabinet so they can both hide at the same time.
